What to Expect

We’ll help you get to know your home top to bottom -- inside and out.

The home inspection is a visual check of the inside and outside of the home, the roof and the crawlspace and all the major systems in between. All of these parts and pieces are grouped into these nine categories:

1. Roofing

  2. Exterior

  3. Interiors

  4. Structural

  5. Plumbing

  6. Electrical

  7. Heating & Cooling

  8. Insulation & Ventilation

  9. Built-In Kitchen Appliances

The inspection itself is most of the fun. You’ll want to come along.

You’re encouraged to participate in the home inspection so we can learn about your home together, and so that we can discuss any findings in person. The inspection itself will take anywhere from 1 to 4 hours or more, depending on the size and age of the home.

The report will be easy to understand and easy to find what’s important.

After the inspection, we’ll create a report which depicts the condition of the home and outlines any concerns or repairs that need to be addressed. So you know exactly what we’re talking about, we use digital photography to document all of our findings.

In the report, we explain how major or minor each item is, how soon it should be addressed and about how much repairs should cost. Plus, we highlight the key takeaways in an upfront summary so that it’s easy to find what’s important -– Overall Condition, Major Repairs, Moderate Repairs, Minor Repairs and Maintenance & Safety.
